LUXURY FAMILY RANGE OF CANS FOR TEAS / Royal

After the feedback we have got, we have come up with a new idea. It would be something that says luxury at the first glance. So we have come up with the name Royal, because it is a really classic luxury name for a lot of luxury designs. Also, it could fit in so many different kinds of designs. So, we have changed the flavors of the tea to be able to fit the brand better, we have decided on basic teas including black tea, white tea, and green tea, to keep it simple and classy. We have decided to use the gold colour or pattern, to give it a luxury feel.

First of all we came up with the logo, we have tried out with different typefaces to see which one fits better, we tried out some handwritten typeface with some art nouveau style, and also some gothic style because they are old and historic, and gothic types could create some kind of classy vintage antique old emperor kind of style.

After that, we have decided on Mirella Script Light, because it does look classy with the curves of the letters and linked together well. Taking the idea from the research, we tried to use a gold colour for our logo to give it more luxury feel. I have also made a letter 'R' bigger than the rest of the text to make it stand out.

                                                               Bobonut's Designs

For the design of the packaging, stickers on the outside of the tin are decided. Bobonut has come up with some luxury designs. It is dark green-black ground with gold foiled oval frame patterns. The logo is in the frame and written green tea underneath in a gothic typeface to make it look more "Royal". For the grey part is going to be cut out so the customer can see the tea inside, this creates a more honest and credible brand as there's nothing to hide.

Same design but with a black background for the black tea, and trying out with different frames.

For the white tea, Bobonut tried it with dark blue with another frame.

Also, tried it with another typeface for the tea types.

We have got some feedback on that this does look very luxury and classy. However, this style might not fit our tin as our tin is in a quite playful kind of design, it might not fit the design well. Also, the frames are better to be more consistent, because the green one seems more premium than others. Royal is actually not a very a creative design as quite a lot of brands are already using this kind of design. So we might come up with a more casual and playful new design.
