Penguin / Existing Covers

I have found some existing covers for Animal Farm, to gain perspective on what has already been done, to gather ideas and inspiration.



Strong, large sans serif type with the use of an silhouette of the pig with typography inside it. Impactful type and illustration on a red, bright background grabs attention on a shelf and ensures readability from afar. 



Large, thin sans serif font. An image of the pig is created by small illustrations of the all animals on the farm.

Through research it is clear that there is running themes with previously designed covers, most of them uses illustrations and large fonts which ensures readabilty from the distance.
