* Cards: A5 format, a thin glossy paper which could be distributed in pets shops, supermarkets etc which would be given out for free as an extra near the till (something like coupons).
- The front card would contain high-quality images of the animals with the slogan.
- The back of the card would contain information about how much care each animal needs.
The cards could be used as posters as well.
* Interactive video: Max 35 seconds which could be distributed on TV before Christmas season, online like a youtube advert.
Ideas for an advert:
- To use video clips of different animals and the statistics and facts.
- Record a video in the shelter.
- Make an advert seem as it is a direct message from the animals.
Thinking about this project and a campaign, about to how to link all those things together I thought about creating a Charity which would specify in this issue and try to educate people and help animals which are being left in the shelters or on the streets after Christmas.
As I want to create a Charity I need to come up with the name of the charity and logo.
Feedback
As I have come up with the idea of creating charity I have asked people about their opinions and what else will they add to this campaign as an extra.
- I think you could create an online charity.
- The idea is good, you could design like a can with the charity logo and name of the campaign and put it in different stores so people can donate money for animals which have been left after Christmas.
- Online charity would be good.
- Good idea, maybe add some
- The charity could include some articles about this issue.
- Starter pack for each animal?
- Animals face masks or a plushie?
- Toys which could be purchased from the charity instead of buying a real animal and that money could be donated for animals.
- Interesting idea, maybe a can for people to donate money for animals?
- Online charity
- Leaflets containing contact details for helpline regarding this issue.
The other question was about the cards what kind of information they would like to see?
- Facts and statistics
- Info about how many animals is being returned to shelters after Christmas season.
- The percentage of animals returned back to shelters or how many animals is being lonely on the streets.
- How to take care of animals?
- How much care animals need.
Response to feedback
The feedback was very helpful, it gave me an idea to:
- create an online charity with different articles.
- create leaflets and add helpline number.
Also for the cards, I will use the idea of giving information about how to take care of each animal as it was my first idea and people agreed to it. I will also use some facts and statistics.
