Anti-hunting Campaign / Mind Map

I find the Visual Communication course very interesting, as it has so much to offer and I am eager to acquire more. During the Creative Networks at Ligh Night, I met a third-year Visual Communication student from my university to collaborate with and found a similar cause to fight for that we both believe in (animal rights).

As we met up, Farsya mentioned she is multidisciplinary as she is studying Visual Communication, so I found this as a good opportunity to gain skills in design disciplines I never tried before, especially 3d art. Farsya was eager to learn more about graphic design, so we decided to collaborate and teach each other.

Our first thought was to design a brief based on animals mainly because they cannot defend and stand for themselves. We started from researching about different animals issues from which we picked an anti-hunting campaign which we felt it should be discussed more. So, going further with this project we have chosen a deer because we found that a deer represents the king of the forest and is a protector of all. This gave us an idea to create an anti-hunting campaign which later on developed into a brand.

We started from creating a mind map where we could gather all ideas together in one place. Farsya and I decided to work on everything together; brainstorming concepts and ideas, the name of campaign, slogan, designs, mascot, logo, color scheme, photo-shoots, posters and etc. Our main idea was to create a deer sculpture for multiple uses such as a jewelry holder, plant pot, stationery container and simply for decoration.
